Community Bursaries
RPCA Grade 12 Bursary Application
The Riley Park Community Association (RPCA) at Hillcrest Centre offers up to two (2) five hundred dollar ($500.00) bursaries to two successful student applicants from any of the following Secondary Schools in our area:
- Sir Charles Tupper Secondary
- Eric Hamber Secondary
- John Oliver Secondary
Criteria
The successful applicant must be enrolled in grade 12 and proceeding to some form of post-secondary education and should demonstrate an active community volunteer history during high school years with preference given to students who were involved with the Hillcrest Centre.
Process
- The completed application form and required documentation must be submitted directly to the executive committee at the HIllcrest Centre by May 10th, 2012.
- The school will be informed of their successful candidates prior to their graduation ceremonies.
- A member of the Riley Park Community Association Board of Directors will present the bursary to the successful candidate at the graduation ceremonies.
- Upon receipt of proof of registration, a cheque will be issued to the successful candidate.
