Notice of AGM

Please come join us to help choose which members will represent the community on our association board of directors. The Riley Park Community Association, in partnership with the Vancouver Park Board, is responsible for all programming at the community centre.

In addition we will be voting on a change to our bylaws by adding, as Article 25(4.1) of the By‑laws of the Society, the following:

25(4.1)  In order to be to be eligible for election as Officer a Director must have served for a minimum of one year on the Society’s Board.  This requirement may be waived by the Directors in the event that no Director who meets the requirement is willing to stand for a particular Officer position.

Please note: Voting at our AGM requires that you have a valid Riley Park Community Association membership which can be purchased for $10.00 at the Hillcrest Centre. If you have registered for a program at the Riley Park Community Centre after August 2011 then you are an association member.

The AGM will also include a presentation by Jordan Myers, Charlene Krepiakevich and Lola Tsai from the BMO Vancouver Marathon, which, for the first time, will be starting from Hillcrest Centre. 

Snacks and soft drinks will be served.
